  • Nursing is an integral part of the health care delivery system and works collaboratively with other allied professions for the promotion of disease, the promotion, restoration and maintenance of optimum health for individuals and families in hospital and community setting.
  • The basic course in nursing is a formal educational preparation which should be based on sound educational principles as the foundation on which the practice of nursing is built and on which further education depends.
  • The appropriate behavioural change take place in students in order to felicitate their development, which will assist them to socially useful lives.
  • Nursing programme provides opportunity for the development of specialized knowledge, skill and desirable attitudes relevant to nursing and basic to the professional duties to be performed.
  • The professional nurse contributes to nursing research, work towards the continued improvement and growth of nursing profession so as to bridge the gap between theory and practice.

    Nursing Foundation Lab

    The student to require knowledge and understanding and skills in technique of nursing procedure and practice than in supervised clinical setting including developing the skills in ordered to tackle the critical situation to serve the mankind.

    Anatomy and physiology

    For teaching the structure and functions of the human body in addition to the classroom,a laboratory with specimens of parts of human body, anatomical charts and atlases and articulated skeleton, disarticulated bones,slides and dissectible models of organs are availables.

    Community Health Nursing

    The student must have opportunities for learning in real life situations and in which urban and rural health services are being provided. Home visiting bags are available for demonstration and in sufficient number for use by the student. The laboratory also has an adequate stock of supplies to keep the bags complete and ready.

    Nutrition and Dietetics

    The learning experience in nutrition aims at giving the student a good understanding of the relationship between nutrition and health. The laboratory has space for seating the student, sinks, cooking units refrigerator, cooking utensils, serving dishes, mixers, crockery etc.


    A well equipped library is one of the progressive pillar of a forward looking education system. The college has a spacious library with a vast collection of books and manuals. It has separate reference sections for both student and faculties. The latest journals both Indian and international, periodicals are available in the reading room.

    Computer Lab

    A well-equipped networked computer lab with large number of computer loaded with latest software application and internet facility.


    There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The rooms are well furnished. The student are provided with cupboard, cot and mattress, chair and table. Reading room and recreations rooms are provided.Hostel provides vegetarian meals.
